Steel Horse uses full grain leather to craft the best leather backpack and leather duffel bag on the market. Full grain leather is the highest grade of leather available. It is the top layer of the hide left after the tanning process. The grain remains in tact because it was not sanded off like top grain leather.  Full grain leather is a very durable leather and will look great for years to come. How to Clean Your Leather Duffel Bag

Cleaning leather requires the right tools and the right cleaning agents. NEVER fully submerge your leather when cleaning. Likewise, never clean it inside a washing machine. All that tumbling and water will definitely ruin your leather.

All you need is to hand wash your leather. Use leather cleaning agents such as saddle soap to clean your leather. If there are none available you can use a mild shampoo or baby soap. Use a clean smooth cloth to dampen the leather, also use it to apply the soap. Clean it as gently as possible by rubbing it in a circular motion. After you have applied the soap and have rinsed it immediately wipe it dry with a dry clean smooth cloth.

After it has completely dried, apply the leather conditioner to your leather. This will not only give your leather a shine but also coats it with a protective layer. This will protect your leather from harmful elements that may degrade the leather from frequent use.

We use only the highest quality zippers. No other zipper is as worldly renowned and as unrivaled in the fashion industry as YKK zippers. They are very strong and very dependable. We get the feeling of having a zipper breaking. It is very annoying and could ruin the entire garment. This is also true for leather bags. When the bag is filled to the brim, often the zipper gets hard to pull and close. Eventually, if your force to close a full bag the zipper will probably break. With heavy-duty YKK zippers, you never have to worry about the zipper easily breaking. Likewise, when you eventually close the bag, the YKK zippers will keep the bag close and secure. You will not have to worry about it break and bursting open even when it is at maximum capacity.

Likewise, our straps are attached to the bag with brass D rings. Brass D rings are heavy-duty rings that can hold a lot of weight. It does not easily bend nor does it easily rust. Its D ring design is also very useful. Because of its D-shaped design, the straps can easily be adjusted according to the preference of the user.
