Not all animal skins will be turned into full grain leather. This is because full-grain leather requires only the highest quality of animal skin. To remove these imperfections, the topmost layer will be sanded down. Sanding the top layer will produce a fresh top surface, free of any imperfections. Genuine Leather
Last and certainly the least among the three in quality is genuine leather. Genuine leather is still made of animal skin therefore it is still organic. It is however from different leather scraps from either top grain or full grain or even both. Think of it as some sort of a Frankenstein leather.
